Day Tours
Yellowstone geothermal pool
From Bozeman, go west on West Main to the Junction of Hwy 191 South. Go left to West Yellowstone. Visit Yellowstone IMAX Theatre, providing a unique introspect of Yellowstone National Park.

Interested in trains, fires and bears of Yellowstone? 

Visit the Museum of the Yellowstone in the Union Pacific Depot, West Yellowstone, Montana. 

At the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, pick up a map and information guide. 

Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes and take along a jacket. Also remember your camera. 

The north gate of the park will take you Gardiner then Livingston, west on I-90 back to Sunrise Campground. 

Old West

Go west on Main Street through Bozeman on Hwy 84 to Norris. At Junction 84 and Hwy 287 left, go south through Montana’s sportsman fly fishing valley.

At Ennis Lake, take Hwy 287 to Virginia City, once the territorial capitol. Stroll Virginia City’s boardwalk and be taken back in time to Montana’s Gold Rush. Take a ride on the “Adler Gulch Short Line” narrow gauge railroad to Nevada City, a historic ghost town, now an “open Air Museum.” Return the way you came to the campground. 

Lewis & Clark Trail
Take I-90 West and visit the Madison Buffalo Jump where Montana Native Americans drove herds of buffalo to their death. 

At Three Forks, follow the signs north to the headwaters of the mighty Missouri River. In Three Forks, visit the Sacajawea Inn, one of the oldest in Montana. Sit a spell and relax in the rocking chairs on the Inn’s front porch. 

Through Three Forks, on Hwy 2 west to Lewis & Clark Caverns. At the caverns take a two hours underground tour. Don’t forget to take a jacket. The caverns are at a constant 52 degrees. I-90 will take you to the campground.
